Birthday Girlllll

Hello fellow Homo Sapiens! So, I know I haven't said it much but today is my birthday. I mentioned it a couple of times before but I never really highlighted it. But yeah today was my birthday and at first, I was pretty glum cause it didn't feel like my birthday but my parents set up the GREATEST surprise ever.

So my parents started driving at 5:00 AM, guys I think their goal is to kill me with early mornings during the end of this trip. "Aw how did your daughter die?" DEATH BY EARLY MORNINGS, THAT HOW!!! But anyway, I woke up about three hours later and we only had three and half hours left. Okay so here I was, staring out the window most of the drive. You know, just listening to music. Then we pulled into the parking lot of the church. I saw a car with some balloons out the top and I said something really dumb cause I was still oblivious but then when we parked next to the car and THERE THEY WERE. My face changed dramatically and I rapidly got out of the car to give hugs. Who am I hugging you may be asking? ERV AND DONNA BLANK!!! My family has known this particular couple since I was itty bitty and I mean really itty bitty little. I was one. I was attached to Erv since the moment we moved to Pennsylvania and Zane was attached to Donna the moment he was born. I have many many fond memories with Erv and Donna. Anyway, I was SO happy to see them especially on my birthday! Turns out, my mom planned this from a week ago. I haven't exactly had a ton of surprises pulled on me but I LOVED this one. We went out to lunch to an Italian place where I ate wings and a yummy wrap! We had so much fun talking that we stayed a really long time even after we ate. After lunch, we explored the church that my dad is speaking at tomorrow morning, and that was surprisingly fun. Just to explore. I found the library.....THEY HAD AN AMAZING COLLEEN COBLE BOOK COLLECTION!!!! It was amazing. I'm lending a book for the night and I'll return it tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to read much of it though.

After our exciting exploration of this HUGE church, my family and Erv and Donna congregated in the RV so I could open some presents. I honestly didn't think I'd have any presents but my mom ordered stuff and sent it to Erv and Donna so that they could bring it AND the Blanks got me presents too! Also, Donna made delicious dairy free pumpkin whoopie pies. They were soooo gooood. I ate a lot of them. So Erv and Donna got me scented pens, which are super cool, mismatch socks, which are super comfy, and delicious chocolate, which I think you can guess was super delicious. My parents got me a fidget cube thingy that I played with a ton at camp and a cute dress. I love all my presents! But my favorite present was the surprise of seeing Erv and Donna. I hadn't seen them in too long. This birthday that I thought was going to be dreary turned out AMAZING!!

Thank you to my parents and Erv and Donna for the amazing surprise and lunch! I'm glad my day turned out awesome. I hope you all enjoy my birthday shenanigans! One of the best birthdays I've had in a long time! I will catch you guys next time with more meanderings!
