I got my Dam sticker!

Hello fellow Homo Sapiens! I think you all can guess on what I saw by the title buuuuut just in case, we visited the Hoover Dam today. That wasn’t all we visited though. Please keep all hands and feet inside the vehicle at all time while the ride is in progress. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Okay first of all I need to warn you all. My family and I love, and I mean love to make the whole “I got a Dam rock, or Dam shirt” joke. Like we make that joke so much. With that out of the way, we visited the Hoover Dam today. We walked on a bridge and BOOM, there was the famous Dam. There wasn’t much to do at the Hoover Dam except well, see the Hoover Dam. To put it into perspective, it looked like, well a dam. Lots of structural sound thingys. And um tower stuff with power cables. Don’t I sound professional? Point is, it was a giant Dam. Dam tours are available but my family did not do that. We did go to a Dam gift shop and I got my Dam shirt, a Dam postcard, a Dam sticker, and a Dam rock. Why did I feel so evil saying all that? Anyway!


After the Hoover Dam, we drove towards Route 66. Where are my Cars fans???? Recently I found out one of my friends has NEVER SEEN CARS!!! That’s right, I’m calling you out. I won’t say a name but stillll. Go watch Cars right now, heck how bout everyone go watch Cars right now!! I would if I wasn’t writing this for all my peoples out there. Anyway! Route 66 cuts through the famous town, named Seligman, in Cars. In Cars the town is known as Radiator Springs. But Seligman is the birthplace of Route 66. The town itself was very old. Everything looked so run down and that’s because it’s so old. A barber used to have a shop there and he is currently retired and 97. I hope I can live to be that old. Guys, I got a picture with Materrrr!! I know in the picture he doesn’t look exactly like Mater, but it’s him. I also got a Route 66 shirt which I absolutely LOVE! All in all, it was a lot of fun!! I have to say, if you love Cars, you should visit Route 66.

Okay, here we are at the end. Did you enjoy the ride? I do have to say, something I omitted is…. we had a preview of the Grand Canyon today!!! Gasp!! I know!! You guys don’t get to see my picture though so hah! You guys have to wait! I will catch you guys next time with more meanderings!!

FAMILY FRIENDS

 Hello fellow Homo Sapiens! Today was an early start! My parents woke up at 5:30 am to start the drive from Arther, Illinois to Kansas City, Missouri. I woke up briefly when they first started driving and migrated to my parent's bed and slept for another hour or two. After I woke up, I chatted with my dad for about another hour until I decided to waste my life watching Gilmore Girls.  Can someone explain to me the point of Gilmore Girls and why it's weirdly addicting to watch it??? Like the whole show just has a ton of arguing and sarcastic comments that are really funny. I find myself laughing but at the same time, I'm bored with all the fighting that goes on between the main character and her mother. But anyway, that's enough of my thoughts on addicting Gilmore Girls. After our long drive, my mom had a meeting with the company she (and I) work through. Chillin with Mr. Lombardi

Me and Mr. Lombardi Hello my fellow Homo Sapiens! It's already time for my second post! It feels like I wrote the first one just yesterday....wait, guys it was just yesterday. We are on our way from the good ole state of Wisconsin to I have no clue where. I realize now that the nickname for Wisconsin people, a cheesehead, is so accurate. And the people embrace it. There was cheese themed stuff everywhere. And lemme tell you, it was TORTURE for someone who can't have dairy. I see cheese stuff and think "ooo that would be yummy" but then I remember the stomach pains I would have to endure in the future....I guess some things wouldn't be worth it.
