Long Day Driving
Hello my fellow Homo Sapiens! I can't believe day six has come and gone. Guys, the week mark is unbelievably close! I've had a lot of fun so far and I'm excited for the days to come! Now my family and I didn't really do much. We left Iowa in the morning and drove to Nebraska.
Our drive was about four hours I believe (don't quote me on that, I could very well be wrong). I slept so solidly during the drive that when I woke up, I found TWO wet marks on the blanket from my drool. That's right, I drool and I am unashamed. Any of those drool haters can leave right now. But anyway, my nap felt amazing, I watched an episode of Once Upon A Time on my phone afterwards. Honestly, I can't tell you what I did for the majority of the ride because it is smushed in my head with other days. I do remember something from like day two that I forgot to share. Guys, I'm ashamed to say....I accidentally locked myself in the bathroom in the RV. I legit could not get the door open!! I had a mini panic attack while I jiggled the door furiously. It felt like I was in there for so long....approximate time I was locked in there you may be wondering? 2.2 seconds. It was not long at all but it felt like forever while I tried to open the door. Don't worry guys, I made it out. For lunch during our long drive, we stopped at Zombie Burger in Iowa and Zane got this burger that was oozing Mac n Cheese everywhere.

This evening, my family ended our drive at our wonderful host family's house. You know what that means guys? I GET A BEDDDD!!!! Gosh, it felt so good to be on a bed and stretch out taking up the whole thing. Anyway, our host family, Brad and Roxie, are super nice! They are so understanding about my lactose intolerance and have made sure I have food for every meal. It is so fun talking to them and getting to know them. Brad is a goofball so it's so much to joke around with him. They took us to a Mexican Restaurant for supper and that was delicious! Man, food has been a highlight for me today apparently. Zane and I goofed off at the Mexican Restaurant and I had a blast. The highlight of today was most definitely sleeping in a regular bed. It was like cotton to my limbs.
I can't wait to tell you guys about today but you all have to wait until tomorrow to hear about it! I hope you all continue to love my blogs! Catch you all next time with more meanderings!
