On the Move
Hello fellow Homo Sapiens! Today was a usual chill but busy day. Those two usually don't mix and yet here we are. I was awakened to adorable little voices talking to my mom and it was a beautiful way to wake up. I chilled for a bit in my bed before braving the morning. I walked downstairs to the wonderful smell of....BACON! WHO DOESN'T LOVE BACON?!?!? Jada, you can leave because I know you don't like plain bacon. Anyway, the bacon and coffee were delicious! Shout out to Velma and the delicious food.
I played with my kiddos for a really long in the morning. We did all sorts of things like building towers, playing with hot wheels, swinging on the playground, and finishing puzzles. I think I might've made Adda and Cali addicted to press on nails. I was fixing my nails and they were watching, after gaining permission from their mom, I was allowed to put two nails on one of their hands. Then with my other spare nails, they gained permission from their mother, I put two fake nails on their other hand. Those two girls walked around all fancy like and they were so proud of their four fake nails. I now know what I shall get them for their birthdays, well as long as their mom approves. After an amazing lunch (I GOT MASHED POTATOESSSS), my family sadly left. It was a four hour drive to our next destination. I wasted my life watching Gilmore Girls for most of that and stared out the window listening to music for the last little bit. It was a great drive in my opinion, pretty short. I should ask my parents if they thought the drive was long though....we ended in Hutchison, Kansas. We are staying at another host family's house for TWO DAYS. I get my own room for two whole days. PRIVACYYYY.
And we come to end of today which ends like usual. With school. I read a couple pages in my anthropology book and SNAILED my economics quiz. I'm exhausted though so bedtime. I will catch you guys next time with more meanderings!
