Race Day and Donuts

IT'S BEEN A WEEK!! SOMEONE SOUND THE ALARM! *obnoxious alarm goes off* Guys....the week mark has past. It's official, I've stayed in the RV for a week now. Saturday was a very full day so everyone get ready for your hats to be blown off! Okay I'm kidding, but still hold on to your hats juuuust in case.
So Saturday morning started off with a bang! I had to wake up at 6:45 AM!!! I died right then and there. At least it wasn't 5:00 am though. But anyway, I woke up at 6:45 am and groggily climbed into a car with Roxieeeeee. I love you Roxie! She is absolutely amazing and such a great cook! After the car ride, we ended at this barn/shed structure. This was where the race started. What race you may be asking? The church my family visited, organized a race to raise money for Rosedale International. The miles varied for each person but we raised a ton of money for RI! We had some amazing cheerleaders dressed up in inflatable outfits. After people finished their races, donuts and fruits were offered thus giving us a nutritional and delicious brekkie (The better/British way of saying breakfast). I unfortunately couldn't have the donuts....they called my name....the whole time. But I resisted!! After the brekkie and clean up, I ate some delicious spaghetti and then, dun dun dun, I did school. I know, so exciting.
But I got both my assignments done eventually.
Saturday evening, I had some delicious tacos and a rice crispy treat. Guys I could've eaten the whole pan of rice crispy treats. They were so good. Roxie for the win once again. Sadly, after I ate, I did not watch the football game on and had to go back down to my dungeon to do more school. I'm kidding, it's not a dungeon but I was downstairs A LOT. I heard lots of laughter and wished I could have watched the game but now I don't have the stress of the assignment.
I have to give a shoutout to Brad and Roxie. They were so so so welcoming and homey to my family. We all had a ton of laughs and good food. I loved staying with them and visiting their church on Sunday morning. Roxie, thank you for always making sure I had something to eat and just chatting with me while we walked. Brad, thank you for all the jokes and laughter. Whatever makes you happy right? I hope you both have amazing times ahead. I can't wait to see you both again.
This concludes my week mark post. Another medium exciting day. Please enjoy my retellings of crazy stories! Once again, catch you guys next time with more meanderings!
