Sweet Home.....Oklahoma?

Hello fellow Homo Sapiens! Today was a long day of, guess what? You got it, driving. Honestly, the further we get into the week, the more I wonder how am I gonna entertain you all. I'm sure I'll figure it out....eventually. Hmmmm, I know! I shall embarrass my best friend cause I know he reads this. TODAY IS HIS BIRTHDAYYYYY!!!! He's so old now....I kid but still. I hope he had a great day and that his friends at school embarrassed him too. He would be tortured if we went to the same school. He's probably thankful we live in different states....and I'm homeschooled. But anyway!

Today was like any other day. I woke up to my parents getting ready to drive like usual. But instead of falling back into blissful sleep, I stayed awake. Why does my body torture me??? Anyway. We drove about an hour and a half to this place called Cadillac Ranch. It has ten Cadillacs that were buried halfway underground. Only the tail end of the Cadillacs stick out of the ground. The group of artists who did this came from California and called themselves the Ant Farm. People started vandalizing them and spray painting them. Nowadays it's normal to bring a can of spray paint and leave your mark on the Cadillacs. I don't remember the reasoning behind burying Cadillacs, that's a question for my mom, but it was pretty cool to see all the people who had been there and left their mark. The part of Route 66 that Cadillac Ranch is off of also held graffiti on the road. Zane saw a lot of Natalies. There were also a lot of "this person hearts this person". Imagine you say that and then you break up. Do you go back and spray paint over the other person's name? Sorry that was sad of me....but one did actually look like that happened. My hope is that it wouldn't happen.

So while we drove another three ish hours after leaving Cadillac Ranch. During that time, I was wanting something new to watch. I know, that's crazy for me to say after seeing all these new things. What can I say, I'm such a nomad. But anyway, we have Netflix during this trip because Dad needed it for school, so I was scrolling through Netflix. I landed upon The Babysitter's Club tv show. Okay here's the thing. I love Babysitter's Club. We have loads of their books at home and I've read all of them numerous times and still to this day, I read them. I'm not ashamed by the fact that I'll probably be reading them when I'm thirty. So, I start to watch this show, hoping for the best. I was disappointed right off the bat when one of the main characters didn't even look like how she was described. But I mean that happens with books being made into shows or movies so I let it slide. But then other stuff wasn't accurate and I was just more disappointed. I guess Babysitter's Club is too superior for a tv show.

So I guess I did find things to talk about. I surprise even myself. Although, I think it helps that I just love to talk. I hope you all enjoyed my ramblings today! I will catch you guys next time with more meanderings!
